JOB DESCRIPTION
As Subject Matter Expert, Security , you will be responsible for managing physical security operations, defining security procedures, handling data centre (DC) security incidents, working with security system, participating in construction projects and to drive day-to-day process improvement activities. Duties include ensuring consistent deployment of all required security policies and procedures and participate in re-occurring DC audits and reviews.
- Manage the on-site operational physical security of the data centres including but not limited to access control systems, CCTV systems, processes and procedures, security guard force management, security vendor management, risk assessment & management, security metrics reporting, security audits and incident reporting
- Prepare and conduct training for appointed security agency’s security personnel
- Implement, manage and continuously enhance the Global Visitor Management System (GVMS) to increase system usability & availability for all data centres, adhering to PDPA / GDPR / equivalent standard
- Plan and execute Security related projects for the data centres
- Drive projects pertaining to standardization, implementation and enhancement of security infrastructure for the data centres
- Partner the Process Architect to continuously develop, implement and improve security and compliance policies to ensure security requirements are adhered to
- Perform internal security audits and support the Certification Team and the Compliance Team on security matters pertaining for external audits
- Identify, investigate and/or resolve security incidents
- Prepare incident reports or make presentations on internal investigations, losses, violations of regulations, policies and procedures
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree/Diploma in a relevant discipline
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
