As a Snowflake+Cortex - Senior Manager you will lead client-facing data engineering work within our Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics practice, focusing on Snowflake and Cortex solutions that support data modernization, platform design, and scalable analytics capabilities. As a Senior Manager you will guide large programs, shape delivery approach, and bring sound judgment, technical depth, and clear communication to complex stakeholder needs while developing diverse teams and advancing operational excellence. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Bangalore, you will oversee multiple workstreams, support solution delivery across data engineering activities, and help translate business needs into practical, maintainable data and analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

• - Leading Snowflake Cortex data modernization workstreams across complex client engagements
• - Advising clients on data engineering approaches for cloud data platforms, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions
• - Designing and implementing data pipelines, data models, and transformation patterns using Snowflake and adjacent tooling
• - Directing data warehouse architecture, performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting activities
• - Integrating data sources through Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow, Databricks, and AWS services
• - Applying data quality, validation, anonymization, and security controls across engineering solutions
• - Developing scalable data infrastructure that supports modern analytics use cases and platform growth
• - Coaching teams through technical problem solving, delivery planning, and change adoption
• - Translating business goals into technical roadmaps and communicating tradeoffs to client stakeholders
• - Introducing automation, reusable patterns, and delivery methods that improve engineering throughput

What You Must Have

• - At least a Bachelor's degree
• - At least 14+ years of experience
• - Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

• - Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
• - Demonstrating Snowflake and Cortex data modernization delivery in client settings
• - Utilizing data architecture, modeling, and pipeline design for analytics platforms
• - Applying AWS, Azure Databricks, or Azure Data Factory experience
• - Translating business needs into scalable data engineering solutions
• - Leading complex discussions with stakeholders across multiple teams
• - Coaching teams through ambiguity, change, and delivery challenges
