In Group Technology, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable, secure, and rapid deployment of banking applications.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment utilizing Puppet and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks within Node.js applications and microservices.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance system scalability, resilience, and disaster recovery capabilities across hybrid cloud environments.
Lead incident response efforts, conduct thorough root-cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive measures to minimize system downtime.
Develop and maintain comprehensive telemetry, logging, and alerting systems to ensure deep observability of production environments.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Proven experience working in a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or system engineering role within a high-availability environment.
Strong hands-on experience with configuration management tools, specifically Puppet.
Proficiency in software development and scripting, with practical experience in Node.js and shell scripting.
Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with cloud platforms (such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and modern observability tools (such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack).
Solid understanding of Linux/Unix system administration, networking protocols, and security best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a systematic approach to troubleshooting complex distributed systems.
