Social Media Marketing Intern

Role overview

As a Social Media Marketing/Content Intern at SquadStack, you’ll help shape our presence across Instagram and LinkedIn. From Reels and memes to people-and-culture content, you’ll turn creative ideas and internet trends into engaging content that showcases SquadStack’s people, culture, and personality.

What you’ll do

• •Brainstorm and create Reels, posts, memes, stories, and people-and-culture content.
• •Shoot videos, edit Reels, and write engaging hooks and captions.
• •Understand what works on Instagram and LinkedIn and adapt content for each platform.
• •Track trends, memes, creators, and formats, finding relevant ways to use them for SquadStack.
• •Collaborate with people across SquadStack to capture stories and create content.
• •Monitor content performance and use insights to improve future posts.

Requirements

• •Strong social media instincts and an understanding of what makes content engaging.
• •A good sense of humor and creativity.
• •Comfortable communicating with people and involving them in content creation.
• •Basic video editing skills and confidence in creating video content.
• •Good attention to detail and the ability to turn ideas into finished content.
• •Willingness to experiment, learn, and take ownership of creative ideas.
• •Interest or experience in creative hobbies such as photography, writing, filmmaking, music, design, gaming, or similar pursuits is a plus.
