McKesson Corporation is seeking a talented Software Developer to join the McKesson Medical-Surgical (MMS) Supply Chain Technology team. This position is responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and support of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) applications and integrations supporting distribution, supply chain, transportation, logistics, inventory management, procurement, warehouse operations, and order fulfillment processes.

The ideal candidate will possess strong Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne development experience, including custom application development, Event Rules (ER), Business Functions, UBEs, BSSVs, Orchestrations, interfaces, and system enhancements. This role works closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions that support critical MMS business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, design, develop, test, implement, and support Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne solutions supporting MMS business operations.
  • Develop and maintain JD Edwards custom applications, Event Rules (ER), Reports (UBE), Business Functions, BSSVs, Tables, Interactive Applications, Named Event Rules, and Orchestrations.
  • Support JD Edwards Distribution, Inventory Management, Procurement, Sales Order Management, Transportation, Logistics, and Warehouse Management business processes.
  • Develop and support integrations between JD Edwards and internal or external enterprise applications utilizing Orchestrator, APIs, EDI transactions, middleware platforms, and interface technologies.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical design documentation, support documentation, implementation plans, and development standards.
  • Participate in system enhancement projects, software upgrades, package builds, deployments, and retrofit activities.
  • Develop and support data conversion, migration, and validation activities associated with enterprise initiatives.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshoot production issues involving JD Edwards applications, interfaces, integrations, and data processing.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards, security requirements, and best practices.
  • Participate in Agile development activities including backlog refinement, estimation, sprint planning, testing, and release deployment activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on process automation, operational efficiency, and application modernization.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries and support Oracle database-related development activities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support enterprise integration and application modernization initiatives.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers and project team members.
  • Ensure solution reliability, scalability, performance, and maintainability across the JD Edwards ecosystem.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Typically requires 5+ years of relevant experience .
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience participating in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Critical Skills

  • 5+ years of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) development experience.

  • Experience developing and supporting enterprise integrations utilizing JD Edwards Orchestrator, APIs, EDI transactions, middleware platforms, and interface technologies.
  • Strong Oracle database experience including SQL development, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Experience supporting production JD Edwards environments and resolving application, interface, and data issues.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, testing practices, and deployment processes.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting McKesson Medical-Surgical (MMS) business processes.
  • Experience supporting large-scale distribution, healthcare supply chain, logistics, transportation, or warehouse management environments.
  • Experience developing and supporting JD Edwards Business Services (BSSV) integrations.
  • Experience developing Spring Boot applications and REST-based APIs.
  • Experience integrating JD Edwards EnterpriseOne with cloud platforms and external applications through modern API frameworks.
  • Experience with Apache Kafka or event-driven integration architectures.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and modern integration patterns.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated deployment practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure, or AWS.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and enterprise supply chain applications.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale healthcare or distribution organizations.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
