Work Arrangement: Hybrid, 4 days on site (Monday to Thursday)

Through its acquisition of Sierra Wireless, Semtech powers the AirLink ecosystem — including ALMS (AirLink Management Services), a cloud-based platform that enables customers to remotely deploy, monitor, and manage AirLink routers and gateways at scale.

Responsibilities:

You will contribute to the on-time delivery of stable, production-ready software for the ALMS platform.

  • Analyzing requirements and translating them into reliable software designs
  • Implementing and testing features across the ALMS stack·
  • Integrating and configuring sub-systems within a cloud-native environment
  • Writing clear documentation for the features you own.

Minimum Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (software focus)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Java and/or JavaScript application development
  • Linux-based software development
  • Web application development
  • Core AWS services (e.g. EC2, S3, Lambda) and Docker containers
  • Takes initiative, seeks out challenges, and manages risk pragmatically
  • Self-starter with strong communication skills
  • Collaborative team player who takes pride in both team and personal accomplishments.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $25 - $28.5 hourly. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
