• About the Role:

Under the supervision of the Engineering Manager, the Software Development Engineer will collaborate with product managers, designers, and full-stack engineers to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, high-quality software solutions. Telecommuting is available up to 3 days per week within the Seattle Metropolitan area, based on manager approval.

You Will:

• •Design and implement responsive user interfaces that enhance usability and deliver a seamless user experience for internal and external customers.
• •Design and implement solutions for ambiguous and complex problems using multiple full stack technologies.
• •Participate in code and technical design reviews, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with team members to improve code quality and maintain standards.
• •Troubleshoot and debug issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of applications.

You Have:

• •Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience with software design, development, testing, and implementation experience.
• •1 year of experience with frontend development for web and native applications;
• •1 year of experience with asynchronous programming concepts;
• •1 year of experience with developing complex user-facing features in Typescript and React;
• •1 year of experience with conducting code review;
• •1 year of experience with troubleshooting and debugging issues, performing root cause analysis, and implementing solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of applications; and
• •1 year of experience with Apollo graphQL, CI/CD pipelines, Confluence, DevOps, Git, Go, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Jira, Kotlin, React, React Native, Redux, and RESTful APIs.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $144,000.00 to $180,000.00. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
