  • As a SDE II on the AWS Marketplace team, you will design and build large-scale distributed systems that power a multi-billion dollar commerce platform used by customers and partners

  • - Innovate on behalf of customers — you'll have the autonomy to identify problems and ship solutions

Why you'll love it here:

  • - High-impact work: AWS Marketplace is a strategic priority for AWS with executive visibility
  • - Scale: Your code runs across all AWS regions and serves a massive global customer base
  • - Ownership: You won't just write code — you'll own systems, influence roadmaps, and make decisions that matter

Basic qualifications:

  • - 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • - 3+ years of experience designing and building distributed systems
  • - Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java, Python, TypeScript, etc.)
  • - BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • - Experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, etc.)
  • - Track record of delivering large-scale, customer-facing systems
  • - Experience with commerce, marketplace, or SaaS platforms
  • - Strong communication skills and ability to influence without authority

  • - Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred qualifications
