  • Position Summary
  • Assists in the design, development, and maintenance of full-stack web applications supporting data-driven business solutions. Applies understanding of key business drivers to contribute to the resolution of moderately complex problems. Leads portions of initiatives of limited scope, with guidance and direction. Builds frontend interfaces and backend services, ensuring seamless integration across systems. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions. Develops responsive applications and RESTful APIs using Python, TypeScript, and modern web frameworks. Supports application observability through logging, alerting, and performance monitoring. Participates in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of professional software development experience (internships, co-ops, or academic projects acceptable)
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Python or TypeScript for application development
  • SQL and relational database development
  • Working knowledge of:
  • Object-oriented programming and REST APIs
  • Version control (Git)
  • Agile development practices
  • Cloud platforms (GCP preferred)

Experience using AI assistants in software development workflows

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular)
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks or platforms (LangChain, Vertex AI, or similar)
  • Familiarity with observability tools
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Healthcare industry experience a plus

Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related discipline.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$79,310.00 - $158,620.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
