We’re looking for an experience d back-end develop er with the sof tware engineering skills it takes to identify potential risks, contribute to solution develop ment, and create efficient and effective systems for our clients.

As a back-end develop er at Booz Allen, you’ll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and tools to deliver solutions. Using your sof tware engineering experience , you’ll work with the develop ment team to create custom tools, systems, and sites with consistent performance and scalability.

You Have:

• •5+ years of experience implementing, maintaining, and supporting agile sof tware develop ment to modernize systems
• •5+ years of experience in sof tware develop ment using basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web develop ment stacks
• •3+ years of experience with Python programming
• •Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
• •TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• •Bachelor's degree or 8+ years of experience in sof tware engineering in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

• •Experience with hypervisors or virtualization technology such as kvm, VMWare, or Proxmox
• •Experience develop ing and managing CI / CD pipelines
• •Experience with automated test develop ment
• •Experience with Server-Side Develop ment, Middleware, Application or Data Integration, API Develop ment, Core Application Systems
• •Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
• •Experience acquiring client requirements and resolving workflow problems through automation optimization
• •Ability to work with automated testing tools to perform testing and maintenance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
