Software Engineer

This role combines hands-on embedded software development with system-level validation, customer enablement, technical training, and application support. The engineer will create production-quality firmware, reference software, evaluation tools, demonstration platforms, and customer-facing content that accelerate product adoption and reduce integration effort.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the full customer journey, from early technology evaluation and proof-of-concept development to technical documentation, training, and deployment support. The position requires close collaboration with product management, systems engineering, applications engineering, and global customers.

Key Responsibilities

• •Develop embedded firmware and reference software for semiconductor products and evaluation platforms.
• •Design and maintain software drivers, middleware, APIs, and software development kits (SDKs).
• •Develop customer-facing GUIs, configuration tools, demonstration applications, and automation utilities.
• •Create software examples and reference implementations that simplify customer integration.
• •Validate hardware and software solutions through system-level testing and use-case development.
• •Generate technical collateral including application notes, user guides, quick-start guides, training material, demonstrations, and support content.
• •Support customer design-in activities, troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution.
• •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and customer workflows.
• •Contribute to technical training for customers, field engineers, partners, and distributors.
• •Support trade shows, demonstrations, customer visits, and technology evaluations.

Desired Qualifications

• •BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• •Strong C/C++ embedded software development experience.
• •Experience with microcontrollers, embedded Linux, or real-time operating systems.
• •Experience with communication interfaces such as USB, USB Power Delivery, I²C, SPI, UART, Ethernet, or similar protocols.
• •Experience developing software drivers, SDKs, or middleware.
• •Experience developing desktop or web-based GUIs and customer tools.
• •Experience with Python or other scripting languages for automation and testing.
• •Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across hardware and software domains.
• •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• •Lead a team of software engineers delivering embedded software, drivers, GUIs, algorithms, and customer enablement tools.
• •Define software development priorities, roadmaps, and execution plans.
• •Coordinate creation of technical collateral, training content, and demonstration platforms.
• •Drive software quality, architecture, and development best practices.
• •Partner with global engineering, applications, and product management teams to align solutions with customer needs.
• •Mentor and develop engineers while ensuring successful project execution.
