Software Engineer

Samba is a media intelligence company. We know what the world is watching, reading, and thinking about — in real time, at scale, across every screen. Our data exists with the consent of over a billion people, organized into the most complete picture of consumer attention ever built. The biggest brands in the world use that picture to make smarter decisions. We think it’s the most interesting data asset on the planet, because it’s the most culturally relevant.

Based in the beautiful city of Porto, you’ll be part of our collaborative Engineering & Development teams, working closely with your peers and decision-makers to maintain and develop our global services and products.

As a Software Engineer, you are a builder who bridges the gap between high-level requirements and high-performance reality. Having advanced past foundational concepts, you are currently dedicated to growing your expertise in designing distributed systems that scale effectively. You don't just write code that works; you write code that thrives under the pressure of global data scales.

You will be an integral part of the development cycle, owning features from design to deployment. Working within an agile team, you’ll encounter exciting technical challenges, from low-latency optimizations to complex B2B integrations, in a culture where your voice is heard and your growth is prioritized.
