Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Relativity Software Engineer to join our Legal Solutions Product Development team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software solutions that integrate with and extend the Relativity platform. The ideal candidate combines strong .NET engineering expertise with a passion for solving complex business and technical challenges within the eDiscovery and legal technology space.

Working closely with Product Managers, Architects, QA Engineers, and other Software Engineers, you will develop scalable applications, APIs, and integrations that improve workflows, automation, and user experience across Epiq's legal technology ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• •Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software solutions using C#, .NET, and related technologies.
• •Build and enhance integrations with the Relativity platform using Relativity APIs, SDKs, and extensibility capabilities.
• •Develop RESTful APIs and backend services that support internal and customer-facing applications.
• •Create and maintain modern web applications using Angular, React, Vue, or similar JavaScript frameworks.
• •Design and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, stored procedures, and data access layers.
• •Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
• •Collaborate with Product Management, Business Analysts, QA, and Operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• •Troubleshoot production issues and implement scalable, maintainable solutions.
• •Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.
• •Perform code reviews and promote engineering best practices, coding standards, and secure development principles.
• •Identify opportunities for automation, performance optimization, and platform improvements.
• •Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends within legal technology, cloud computing, and software engineering.

Required Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience

• •3+ years of professional software development experience.
• •Strong experience developing applications in C# and .NET.
• •Experience building REST APIs and web services.
• •Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
• •Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, relational database design, and database performance optimization.
• •Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and software design patterns.
• •Experience with Git and modern source control practices.
• •Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• •Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• •Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• •Experience working with the Relativity eDiscovery platform.
• •Experience developing Relativity applications, integrations, custom pages, event handlers, or workflows.
• •Experience with ASP.NET Core.
• •Experience with Azure or AWS cloud technologies.
• •Experience building enterprise-scale software applications.
• •Knowledge of cloud-native architecture, distributed systems, and microservices.
• •Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• •Knowledge of CI/CD practices and DevOps methodologies.
