We are seeking a Software Engineer I to build and maintain intelligent automation for Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) in healthcare. You will learn healthcare billing workflows and build your skills in Selenium, computer vision, web services, and cloud technology. You will work closely with senior engineers and get regular code review and mentorship, and you will own real production work from early on.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Development: Build and maintain automation for RCM processes using Python, Selenium, and OpenCV.

Web Automation: Automate browser tasks such as data extraction, form submission, and portal navigation.

Computer Vision and OCR: Use OpenCV and OCR to read and interact with screens and documents in desktop and web applications.

Production Support: Monitor running automations. Investigate failures using logs, screenshots, and database records, then fix the cause.

Data and SQL: Write SQL queries to look at task queues, results, and exceptions, and to support reporting.

Services and APIs: Help build and maintain internal APIs, dashboards, and integrations with payers, clearinghouses, and EHR systems.

Collaboration: Work with operations teams and SMEs to understand manual workflows and turn them into reliable automation.

Compliance and Security: Follow HIPAA requirements, secure credential handling, and logging and audit practices in all development work.

Documentation: Write and maintain technical documentation for the workflows you build.

Cloud Services: Use Azure services (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Key Vault) as part of the automation infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Experience with Selenium, Playwright, or another browser automation tool.

Web development experience with FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar frameworks.
