About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate Software Engineer Intern to join our innovative technology team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work within a highly skilled group of developers to build and maintain features for Sezzle’s platform. As a Software Engineer Intern, you’ll contribute to real-world projects, participate in code reviews, and gain exposure to Sezzle’s technology stack.

What You'll Do:

Assist in developing and maintaining backend and frontend services.

Write clean, scalable code and participate in code reviews.

Collaborate with the engineering team to implement new features and resolve bugs.

Work on performance tuning, debugging, and scaling of Sezzle's platform.

Document software functionalities and contribute to the knowledge base.

Sezzle’s Technology Stack:

Languages: Golang, Typescript, Python

Frontend: Typescript - React and React Native

Backend: Golang

Database: MySQL, Postgres, Elasticsearch

DevOps & Cloud: AWS, Kubernetes

Version Control: Git

CI/CD: Gitlab

Testing: Developer-driven, focus on automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests

What We Look For:

Experience with Golang, Python, or any backend language.

Familiarity with Javascript/Typescript, and React or similar framework.

Basic understanding of databases and SQL.

Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.

Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required; candidates must be comfortable leveraging AI to enhance productivity, research, and communication.

Compensation : The salary for the Software Engineer Intern is 800 USD monthly gross.
