Senior Software Engineer

Position Overview

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join an AI engineering team within our data warehousing organization . You'll build AI agents as well as the foundational tooling and context that enable agents to interact effectively with our data environment. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for an engineer who thrives on autonomy and enjoys shaping how AI is applied across a complex data landscape.

Responsibilities

• •Develop the tools and interfaces that enable agents to interact reliably with the data warehouse environment through clean, complete, and well-governed context.
• •Design, build, and deploy AI agents that reason over enterprise data and automate meaningful workflows.
• •Apply modern agentic patterns - Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) , system prompt design, tool/function calling, and multi-agent orchestration.
• •Partner with data engineering teams to ensure agents are grounded in accurate, well-governed data.
• •Communicate clearly with both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders and help drive best practices across the team.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• •6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• •Hands-on experience building AI agents or agentic applications.
• •Strong working knowledge of core AI/LLM concepts: RAG, system prompts, AI tools/function calling, MCP, and A2A .
• •Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-directed , taking ownership of ambiguous problems.
• •Excellent written and verbal communication skills .

Required Experience & Education:

• •6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• •Hands-on experience building AI agents or agentic applications.
• •Strong working knowledge of core AI/LLM concepts: RAG, system prompts, AI tools/function calling, MCP, and A2A .
• •Demonstrated ability to work independently and self-directed , taking ownership of ambiguous problems.
• •Excellent written and verbal communication skills .

Nice to Have:

• •Experience with ETL / data pipelines - a significant plus given our data warehousing environment.
• •Hands-on AWS experience.
• •Background working within or alongside large-scale data platforms and governance frameworks.
