Job summary:
The Red Hat Developer Hub team is looking for an Intern with experience with TypeScript, Yaml/Json and Docker to join us in Brno. You’ll work on the security team to improve the security posture for Developer Hub, develop new features and address existing defects and bugs. You’ll also expand, automate, and streamline our vulnerabilities and dependency management using modern technologies. This long-term internship will give you the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about Red Hat’s business and the open source culture.

Red Hat’s Intern Program is a collaborative effort between the Emerging Talent team and our intern managers. The program is designed to offer a meaningful and well-rounded experience — combining professional development, networking opportunities, social engagement, and impactful work. This is a paid, part-time internship based in the Brno office, with flexible working hours. The expected start date is February 2027 .
What you will do:
- Learn and understand the technologies involved
- Learn the security processes
- Contribute to upstream projects by submitting and reviewing patches for bug fixes and feature requests to and from the community
- Document and maintain software functionality
- Participate on a scrum team
What you will bring :
- You must be enrolled in an accredited university program in the Czech Republic during the full duration of the internship and must be able to join us part-time from February 2027 till January 2028
- Working knowledge of written and spoken English
- Experience with TypeScript, Yaml/Json, Docker
- Experience with Shell scripting, Golang is a plus
- Experience with Git
- Familiarity with continuous integration (CI) infrastructure
- A passion for open source technologies
