Olink, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, is dedicated to advancing the understanding of human disease through proteomics. Olink panels provide innovative, high-quality solutions for human protein biomarker discovery, enabling researchers to measure thousands of proteins simultaneously from just a few microliters of blood. Using highly specific and thoroughly validated assays with a wide dynamic range, Olink’s technology overcomes traditional limitations in protein analysis and supports deeper insights into human biology and disease.

Job description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and empathic Manager to lead our Data & Digital Tooling team that mixes software and data engineers. You will be part of our AI & Digital Solutions section and operate in close collaboration with our AI and DevOps Engineering team. Your group will focus on developing analysis tools and managing our data resources. With your help and team we will ensure RnD organisation has the best digital solutions at hand to enable Olinks next generation of products. You will coach, lead and develop your team members in their growth and future success within Olink and the digital software landscape.

Your contribution:

  • Here you'll get a chance to help your team define and build advanced tools for future proteomics discoveries.
  • Collaborate with AI and devops engineering teams to produce complex analysis pipelines all the way from cloud infra to results.
  • Help your team and its members in their growth and career paths
  • Ensure your team delivers high-quality technical solutions using agile ways of working, methods, and tools

Refquirements :

  • PhD or master’s degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, biotechnology, or related engineering fields.
  • 5+ years preferred of relevant industry experience with proficiency in Python, C#/C++.
  • Experienced in building web application in cloud platforms
  • Experience in data platforms, data engineering, or a strong willingness to learn and grow in this area
  • Ability to engage with external technology stakeholders
  • Minimum 3 years of experience preferred from leading roles (Manager, Product Owner, Project Manager)
  • Experienced using Jira and GitHub
  • Strong value driven mindset and natural strive for efficiency and optimization in development and deliveries
  • Background in the proteomics field is strongly beneficial but not required
  • Knowledge in Databricks is beneficial but not necessary
