We are looking for an expert Software Manager to own the DOCA Networking Data Plane team in engineering industry-leading Virtual Switches. Managing a team of senior engineers, you will address modern networking challenges across both high-density AI (E/W) and external (N/S) workloads. Your goal: leverage the NVIDIA DOCA SDK and SmartNIC architecture to achieve orders-of-magnitude speedups while maintaining full software flexibility.

What you'll be doing:

Manage the team both personally and professionally, with focus on research & development of networking features. This role allows you to not only mentor and lead team members, but also to be hands-on and engineer the next generation technology in this domain as well as working with world class technical leaders in this field.

What we need to see:

B.Sc. (or equivalent experience) in computer science / software engineering with 8+ years of overall experience, with 2+ years of team lead/management experience

5+ years’ experience of Programming C/C++

3+ years’ experience in Linux environment and tools

Deep experience of Networking Protocols mainly Ethernet

Strong analytical, debugging and problem-solving skills

Deep knowledge in computer architecture and operating systems

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

Experience with virtualization and cloud native technologies

Experience in performance optimizations

Open Source Software Contributor to relevant projects (OVN Kubernetes, OVN, OvS, DPDK, Linux Kernel)

Hands-on experience with HW offloads
