Role Summary:

Zeliot is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the architecture and technical execution of an Automotive Cloud initiative at a leading automotive OEM.

The candidate should have strong expertise in cloud-native software architecture, distributed systems, and real-time data processing, along with experience in automotive, connected vehicles, or telematics. The role involves working closely with OEM stakeholders and Zeliot's engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions while aligning with emerging automotive technologies such as Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV).

Key Responsibilities:

• •Lead architecture and solution design for automotive cloud applications, connected vehicle platforms, and associated integrations.
• •Gather and evaluate functional and non-functional requirements, define technology stacks, and create high-level and low-level architecture designs.
• •Design scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native systems for real-time vehicle data ingestion, processing, and distribution.
• •Guide engineering teams through technical design, code reviews, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
• •Collaborate with OEM stakeholders, technology partners, and Zeliot engineering teams to drive technical execution and resolve integration challenges.
• •Evaluate emerging automotive technologies and align platform architecture with the OEM's long-term SDV and connected vehicle roadmap.
• •Ensure adherence to engineering best practices covering scalability, security, availability, observability, and software quality.

Qualifications/Skills:

• •10+ years of software engineering experience, with proven experience in software or solution architecture.
• •Strong proficiency in Java and/or Node.js , microservices, REST APIs, and distributed application design.
• •Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes , and event-driven architectures.
• •Experience with GCP Cloud.
• •Good understanding of databases, real-time data processing, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.
• •Experience in automotive, connected vehicles, IoT, or telematics , including vehicle-to-cloud communication and telemetry processing.
• •Understanding of Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV) , emerging automotive software architectures, and their implications for automotive cloud platforms.
• •Strong problem-solving, technical leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Good to have skills:

• •Experience working directly with automotive OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers.
• •Knowledge of automotive protocols and technologies such as CAN, DTC, MQTT, and OTA/FOTA.
• •Awareness of emerging SDV technologies, including AUTOSAR Adaptive, zonal architectures, SOAFEE, and vehicle data standards.
• •Exposure to AI-driven automotive applications, predictive diagnostics, digital twins, and edge-to-cloud architectures.
