Job Description:

AHMG Vascular Surgery at East Orlando

7974 Lake Underhill Road, Suite 140, Orlando, FL 32822

Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 5pm

$5k sign on bonus

• •Produces quality diagnostic ultrasound images using proper equipment techniques and technical factors.
• •Performs all ultrasound procedures according to department policies.
• •Follows prescribed hospital safety standards and practices sterile techniques to prevent contamination.
• •Positions and transfers patients for exams.
• •Maintains adequate records per department and hospital policies.
• •Assists physicians in performing invasive procedures, ensuring proper lab work and specimen delivery.
• •Incorporates patient, physician, and customer needs and concerns into decision-making and organizational actions.
• •Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of the Ultrasound Department and secures and restocks supplies as necessary.
• •Attends a minimum of 50% of scheduled department meetings and obtains information from missed meetings. Follows AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, and Thank) at all times.
• •Maintains ethical, professional relationships and follow the “Standard of Behavior” guidelines per hospital policy.
• •Perform other duties as assigned.

• •Technical/Vocational School [Required]

Work Experience:

1+ of position-related experience [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

• •Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) [Required] OR
• •Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) [Required]
• •Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range:

• $28.97 - $53.88
• Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
