Summary of Job Duties:

• 1.Conduct small group or individual classroom activities based on pre-developed instructor lessons.
• 2.Assist with supervision of students in the classroom.
• 3.Maintain and retain supplies and equipment purchased for use in completing classroom responsibilities.
• 4.Participate in staff development activities to improve job-related skills.
• 5.Provide documentation of professional development records as requested by the director.
• 6.Foster collegiality & teambuilding among staff; participate actively in the decision-making process.
• 7.Collaborate with the director/staff to recognize student excellence and achievement.
• 8. Maintain a classroom environment in which learners actively participate and show respect for one another.
• 9. Use technology to assist students with classroom assignments.
• 10. Assist with routine classroom record keeping.
• 11. Attend and participate in staff meetings and serve on committees as assigned.
• 12. Adhere to all volunteer rules and guidelines set forth by the AR Department of Community Corrections.
• 13. Perform other duties as assigned.
