• Check processes to ensure rules are followed, review key risk signs, and take early action to prevent issues before they happen
• Support reviews of client concerns and lead detailed investigations to identify root causes and corrective actions
• Detect suspicious activities, and ensure fast and proper response to security issues to minimize impact
• Create clear and detailed audit and compliance reports, highlighting findings, risks, and action plans for stakeholders
• Complete all assigned, mandatory training within the timeframe provided

Conduct and/or participate in regularly scheduled 1:1 meetings with direct manager and/or direct reports

• Resources will be diverted from other client portfolios to address urgent issues, eliminating capacity for proactive risk prevention and continuous improvement—core drivers of long-term value and client trust.
• Reduced coverage will directly impact response times across key KPIs, delaying action on fraud alerts, and increasing the likelihood of incidents escalating before containment.
• Limited bandwidth to execute audit action plans will increase the risk of audit findings, potential client escalations, and reputational impact—especially critical in high-risk or regulated accounts.
• The function will shift to incident-driven operations, reducing our ability to anticipate and mitigate risks early, ultimately increasing overall exposure and cost of remediation.
• Sustained workload pressure without backfill will impact team morale, productivity, and retention. High-performing resources will be forced into purely operational roles, limiting their ability to deliver strategic, value-added contributions.
