At ING, we're looking for a Specialist Real Estate & Construction Financing who combines expertise, ownership and stakeholder management to support professional clients in realizing their real estate and construction ambitions.

You will play a key role in the execution of complex financing transactions and act as a trusted partner throughout the financing journey. Working closely with clients, relationship managers, notaries, legal specialists and risk experts, you will ensure financing solutions are implemented smoothly, efficiently and in line with ING's standards.

Your role and work environment

Real Estate Finance is one of ING's core lending activities and supports professional investors, developers and entrepreneurs in financing residential, commercial and construction projects.

As part of our Real Estate Financing team, you are responsible for the end-to-end management and execution of complex financing files. You act as the central point of coordination between all stakeholders involved in the transaction lifecycle.

You will work in a collaborative environment where expertise, client focus and continuous improvement are highly valued.

Your key responsibilities

Financing execution & file management

· Manage complex real estate and construction financing files from approved credit decision through implementation and follow-up.

· Ensure financing conditions and contractual requirements are fulfilled accurately and on time.

· Coordinate all activities required to successfully complete financing transactions.

Stakeholder management

· Act as the primary operational contact for stakeholders involved in the financing process.

· Collaborate closely with relationship managers, clients, notaries, legal experts, credit specialists and internal support teams.

· Build trusted relationships and ensure clear communication throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Risk & quality management

· Ensure all files comply with legal, regulatory and internal risk requirements.

· Identify potential risks, dependencies and bottlenecks at an early stage.

· Escalate and resolve issues proactively to ensure timely execution.

Continuous improvement

· Contribute to the optimisation of operational processes and customer journeys.

· Share expertise and best practices within the team.

· Support initiatives that improve efficiency, quality and customer experience.

We look for

A professional who enjoys combining analytical thinking, stakeholder management and operational excellence.

You have:

· A bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent experience.

· Experience in lending, banking operations, real estate finance, construction finance, credit operations or a related domain.

· Knowledge of financing structures and complex credit documentation is a strong asset.

· Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

· A proactive mindset and a strong sense of ownership.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· The ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Fluency in Dutch is required. Knowledge of French and English is an asset.
