ChristianaCare is recruiting for a part time (40 hours biweekly) Speech Language Pathologist to assess and treat adults with communication and swallowing disorders in an inpatient acute care setting. With an emphasis on patient-family centered care, we specialize in a variety of services with a dynamic interdisciplinary/trans-disciplinary team approach. One weekend day per month and one holiday per year required.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

• •Perform comprehensive patient evaluations
• •Develop and implement appropriate treatment programs to include family specific goals and time frames
• •Provide patient and family education and training

Education and experience requirements:

• •Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
• •Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
• •Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) OR CF Certification
• •CPR Certification
• •Acute care experience preferred

Hourly Pay Range: $35.39 - $56.63

This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
