Job Description:

The Workplace Benefits Process Governance Manager manages risk and drives control discipline across the business by promoting a strong risk culture and proactively partnering with Workplace Benefits senior leadership, process owners, legal, risk, compliance and enterprise program owners. Position requires interaction across products and functions within Workplace Benefits and close partnership with control partners, applying risk management and governance subject matter expertise to influence and support proactive identification, escalation and timely mitigation of risks as well as adherence to Enterprise policies and standards. The Process Manager is responsible for a wide variety of oversight and governance functions associated with Risk Framework elements including Single Process Inventory, Risk Metrics and Risk Appetite, Issues Management, Audit and Regulatory Engagements as well as Risk and Governance Reporting.

Responsibilities:

Act as the Team Lead and Subject Matter Expert for Single Process Inventory across Workplace Benefits

Lead Workplace Benefits Single Process Inventory and ensures adherence to the Enterprise Standards

Build strong partnerships and collaborate effectively with the Workplace Benefits business and with key Risk/Audit Partners; serving as Governance & Business Controls primary point of contact for coverage area

Promote and drive a strong risk culture through identification, evaluation and mitigation of risk and remediation of control gaps

Coordinate audit issue remediation through the development of action plans, controls, and sustainability activities; monitor progress of audit issue validation; ensure deadlines are met

Work with business partners in creating policies and procedures to ensure critical business operational processes are current and well documented

Drive adherence to Enterprise Process & Policy through monitoring, maintenance and enhancements of the Single Process Inventory and associated controls and metrics

  • Prepare and deliver reporting to oversee the health of the process and control environment
  • Provide Exam, Assessment and Compliance Testing support

Required:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in risk and/or governance roles
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong relationship management skills with ability to navigate the complexities of aligning stakeholders including senior management, control partners, operations and various lines of business
  • Proven record of effective management and timely completion of multiple deliverables/initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Robust understanding of operational controls related to compliance and risk management
  • Ability to plan and execute tactical actions within prescribed timelines
  • Solid project management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent

Pay range

$104,000.00 - $159,900.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
