Purpose of the role:
The Spine and Interventional Pain Sales Specialist will be responsible for the complete Spine and Interventional Pain Portfolio within the territory. The position will achieve sales and market share objectives by selling and demonstrating the full Portfolio of products.
You must build relationships with Customers in your Accounts & also Personnel in all areas of the company. You will work with the Business Unit Leader, Sales Manager and Sales Specialist colleagues to define the optimal sales strategy for your accounts. This will include identifying key customers, defining the best product positioning, analysis of competitors and ensuring you are across developments in the market
The role is based in the Leinster region. Ideal candidate must be located on territory.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Managing the entire Spine and Interventional Pain portfolio in your Accounts.
Some sales will also involve engagement in neuro, orthopaedic general surgery and radiologu
Developing Relationships with key customers into lasting business partnerships
Achievement of sales plans on a quarterly and annual basis
Assist customers with clinical, technical and commercial enquires
Business planning and implementation throughout area of responsibility.
Development of new business opportunities and determination of new client and market potential
Working with the Managers to assist developing and implementing ongoing Spine and Interventional Pain Portfolio market plans, working with all departments to execute.
Assessing the direction the business is taking in your Accounts and forecasting progress.
Implementation of new product launches and other corporate activities within area of responsibility
Attendance at relevant conferences / meetings and Educational Courses with Customers both in Ireland and abroad.
Role Requirements:
Ideally 2+ years experience in Spine and Interventional Pain or experience within the surgical device market
High reliance on drive and planning/organisational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills: Customer focused with strong influencing skills
Good administrative and computing skills
Commercially aware. Able to manage a complex business. Well organised
Self-motivated and team player
Must have full, clean driving license (company car provided)
