Job Description Summary
This position supports live video/television productions of Miami University Athletics events, working in a variety of roles throughout each broadcast.
Job Description
Essential Duties:
- Operate a broadcast camera to capture live game action and shot sequences during Miami University Athletics events
- Operate the NewTek TriCaster production switcher to support live video/television production
- Operate the 3Play Instant Replay system to capture, cue, and roll instant replays during live broadcasts
- Operate Ross Xpression graphics software to build and trigger on-screen graphics, including scoreboards, lower-thirds, and stat overlays
- Mix and monitor live audio feeds during broadcasts
- Assist production staff as needed in the role of Production Assistant, including setup, breakdown, and general production support
- Rotate through the above positions as assigned based on event needs and staffing
Minimum Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of sports
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous broadcast/production experience is helpful but not required — training will be provided
