Game Seven Agency, an Excel Sports Management Company, is a full service creative and experiential agency that lives for sport, music and culture. From the biggest moments to the smallest details, we pride ourselves on being in the know and building relationships that matter, for brands that matter.

Our team is comprised of creatives, strategists, producers, designers, project managers, influencer managers, filmmakers, volunteers, activists, ballplayers, hypebeasts, social media moguls, runners, mixologists, party promoters, hip-hop elitists, show-bingers, hot-take havers, vintage t-shirt collectors, fitness fanatics, pet parents, plant parents, human parents, and general good time havers.

Clients include Hennessey, Nike, Jordan, Spotify, Meta, Instagram, TikTok, Amazon, Timberland, Oakley, Footlocker, Chime, Fanatics, Bleacher Report, Uninterrupted, and more.

Our Intern program is a paid opportunity that allows participants to contribute to the organization’s success while at the same time applying learnings from the classroom. This semester we will continue with a hybrid program and will offer each participant the opportunity to gain in-office experience for approximately 3-days a week. Interns are responsible for their individual transportation and housing needs.

Intern Expectations:

All Intern are expected to work 24-29.9 hours a week during the session. While each Intern will be working with a specific division, they will have the opportunity to learn about other areas within Excel, through lunch and learns held throughout the semester.

Important Dates:

Our Spring Program runs from Monday, January 11 th , 2027, through Thursday, May 6 th , 2027.

Office Hours:

9:00 am‐6:00 PM ET, Monday-Friday OR as agreed upon with advisor. Days in office must be coordinated with Advisor’s schedules.

Our Interns must:

Be available to work under 30 hours per week.

Be available to report to the New York Office approximately 3-days a week.

Have a senior standing in college (must have completed your junior year of undergrad)

OR

Be enrolled in a graduate school

OR

Have a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree.

Interview Process:

Applications will close on November 20th , 2026.

If selected, the expectation is that offers will be extended by early December.

The program will begin on January 11 th , 2027.

Social Media Intern Expectations:

Support the execution of social strategy, including trend and culture research, competitive audits, content calendars, and platform-specific recommendations

Help produce social content from concept through delivery, including shot lists, copy, edits, asset organization, and publishing support

Assist with creative needs as they arise, such as concepting, moodboards, copywriting, and pulling references for pitches and presentations

Monitor social conversation and performance, and help turn the findings into clear takeaways for the team

Support creator and influencer programming with research, outreach tracking, and coordination

Help prepare client-facing materials, including decks, recaps, and reporting

Develop and produce original content for the agency’s social channels, including short-form video, carousels, stills, and copy

Help shape a content point of view that showcases our work, our people, and our culture

Document agency events, activations, and behind-the-scenes moments, and turn them into content

Pitch and test new formats, series, and ideas that fit each platform

Keep our channels active through community management, scheduling, and content tracking Report on what’s working and bring recommendations to the team

The pay range for this position is between $17.00 per hour, dependent on work location. Please note that the foregoing compensation information is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and is provided pursuant to the California and New York City Salary Transparency Law.
