THE ROLE

At the conclusion of this position, co-ops will have increased their knowledge of investing, the mutual fund industry, employee engagement, and a firm understanding of how sales work at an asset manager.

MFS co-op positions are a 6-month commitment, working Monday – Friday (beginning on Wednesday, January 13th through Friday June 25th, 2027), and work between 35-40 hours. Our program is designed for undergraduate students who are currently enrolled in a co-op program through their college or university and can meet our requirements.

Job Summary

The Retail Internal Sales Co-op participant is an integral part of the Inside Sales Team and are provided with tasks that provide tremendous educational exposure. This position offers a great opportunity for someone interested in starting a career in sales. The Retail Internal Sales Co-op will assist all areas of the department on product distribution activities. In addition, gain a fundamental understanding of the financial services industry by working with numerous stakeholders of the organization. The environment is fast paced, dynamic, fun and engaging.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Provide support to a global team of 11 Internal Sales Representatives, with a focus on non-US business.

Maintain and update system information in C360 (SalesForce).

Gain knowledge about financial hypothetical illustrations and assemble literature materials.

Run fund comparisons, emphasizing key differences between investment options.

Prepare and update fund information templates.

Market research: new organizations, contacts and funds.

Coordinate and schedule team meetings

Generate and run weekly/monthly activity reports.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Proven attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Strong written and verbal communication.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively and efficiently.

Working knowledge of computer-based programs including MS Word and Excel.

Hourly Pay Rate: $21.00-$25.00
