Overview:

As a Senior Field Sales Representative, you’ll execute, refine, and shape sales strategies and processes, take ownership of the retail partnership, report advanced market insights, provide leadership, optimize in-store execution, and help lift overall market performance. With your expert product knowledge, strategic thinking, and ability to build trust at all levels, you'll be the backbone of retail execution excellence in your region.   • Pay: $24 hourly + 10% Monthly Bonus Opportunity
  • Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday

*This market requires overnights and the ability to rent a vehicle.

Job Description:

Sales Leadership & Market Ownership

  • Drive High‑Impact Sales Growth: Lead market-level sales performance through advanced product expertise, strategic planning, and refined sales execution.
  • Set the Standard in Retail Execution: Serve as the primary point of contact for complex retail environments, ensuring execution excellence across displays, merchandising, and product presentation.
  • Expand Market Influence: Identify growth opportunities across your territory, initiate solutions, and partner with leadership to implement improvements.

Retail & Partner Relationship Expertise

  • Strengthen High-Level Retail Partnerships: Build, maintain, and elevate relationships with senior store leaders and key decision makers within home improvement retail environments.
  • Advise Retail Leaders: Provide a consultative presence—offering insights, training, and recommendations that directly influence sales outcomes.
  • Resolve Operational Barriers: Proactively diagnose store-level obstacles, coordinate solutions, and communicate market needs to leadership.

Customer Experience & Training Support

  • Lead in delivering the “Best Experience” by providing expert product guidance, troubleshooting support, and elevated customer interactions.
  • Support onboarding and informal field mentorship of new or junior Field Sales Representatives as directed.
  • Provide guidance to retail associates when appropriate, ensuring a strong understanding of product value and store execution standards.

Advanced In-Store Execution

  • Optimize Product Placement & Visibility: Ensure displays are accurate, compelling, and aligned with program standards.
  • Evaluate Store Performance: Conduct advanced store assessments, identifying trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Blind-Cutting Operations (where applicable):
  • Maintain, service, and troubleshoot blind‑cutting machines.
  • Coordinate repairs, escalate issues, and ensure safe operations.
  • Provide store training on machine functionality and basic troubleshooting.

Data Reporting & Market Insights

  • Analyze sales data, monitor trends, and create actionable recommendations to accelerate performance.
  • Submit advanced reporting insights to management, including competitive observations, retailer feedback, and operational challenges.

  • Self‑Starter with Leadership Traits: Operates with minimal oversight, demonstrates ownership, and naturally takes the lead in complex field situations.
  • Deep Product Knowledge: Capability to master technical product details, convey value propositions clearly, and support others in developing product expertise.

Requirements

  • Reliable transportation for daily multi-store travel; Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Ability to lift 25+ lbs., install displays, and operate small power tools.
  • Willingness to travel overnight on occasion for market support or training.
