Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, resolve discrepancies, and maintain appropriate supporting documentation.

Participate in the full monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, ensuring assigned activities are completed accurately and on schedule.

Analyze general ledger activity, identify unusual fluctuations, and provide explanations for month-over-month variances.

Partner with cross-functional teams to research transactions, resolve accounting issues, and improve financial reporting processes. Assist with financial statement preparation and monthly management reporting.

Support external audits by preparing schedules, responding to auditor requests, and maintaining audit-ready documentation.

Follow established internal controls and contribute to process improvement initiatives and SOX compliance activities, where applicable.

Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and enhance accounting processes.

Assist with special projects, system implementations, and other accounting initiatives as needed.
