Sr. Application Engineer

Job Description:

This position is set to provide technical support for MPS customer in southeast Asia.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• •Provide application support and technical training for customers and field application and sales engineers;
• •Visit customers to promote MPS new product and collect customer’s feedback and requirement;
• •Develop application reference circuits according to customer requirement;
• •Work with design engineers, field applications and marketing team on IC debugs;
• •Work with technical marketing engineer to assist on product definition;
• •Guide junior application engineer;
• •Perform other jobs assigned by manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

• •MSEE or equivalent with 3+ years’ experience in power management IC related job, experience on AE or FAE or automotive electronics application related job is a plus;
• •Familiar with basic buck/boost/buck-boost etc. topologies;
• •With hardware implementation skills;
• •With ability of analyzing complex analog and power electronic circuits;
• •Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills;
• •Fluent communication skills in Chinese and English;
• •Ability to take initiative in problem solving;
• •Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated and good team spirit, experience on managing or leading team is a plus.
