Sr. Associate I, Systems and Process Management

Location: Mexico City (Hybrid)

As a Sr. Associate I, Systems and Process Management supporting the Systems and Process Integrations team, you will be responsible for optimizing systems and processes to enhance supply chain performance. You will ensure seamless financial, physical, and information flow across systems while adhering to compliance requirements. This role serves as a key liaison between intercompany stakeholders, procurement, Warehouse & Distribution, across supply chain and other functional systems.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, project management experience, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively with global stakeholders in a dynamic and innovative environment.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Drive operational excellence by managing inbound and outbound transactions ensuring they are processed and synchronized between the different systems.
  • Ensure advanced support analyzing and solving process and technical issues identified as IDocs errors in collaboration with global cross-functional groups providing timely resolutions and minimizing impact on affiliate/market.
  • Supporting inventory reconciliation by supplying and analyzing data to ensure SAP and WMS (Warehouse Management System) match in both value and volume. Identifying root cause for any differences and support implementing fixes or process improvements.
  • Provide customer and operational excellence by actively supporting all product launches, extensions, etc.
  • SME (Subject Matter Expert) for LATAM affiliates supporting business in the execution of system corrective actions to ensure deliveries to customers are processed timely.
  • Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to measure system governance and error rate, while identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Execution of direct procurement operations by placing orders to external suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, goods receipt and payment clearance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational and system efficiency, as well as process optimization.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Operations, Materials Management, Procurement, or any related field.
  • Previous SAP experience.
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
