Position Summary

The Industrial Engineer is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving operational efficiency, and leading large-scale projects including production line relocations, plant layout redesigns, and facility moves. This role partners cross-functionally to deliver cost savings, productivity gains, and seamless transitions during major operational changes.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement
• - Analyze and improve manufacturing processes using Lean and Six Sigma
• - Conduct workflow analysis, line balancing, and capacity planning
• - Implement cost reduction and productivity initiatives

• Facility & Line Move Project Leadership
• - Partner with leadership in the execution of production line moves and facility transitions
• - Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
• - Coordinate cross-functional teams
• - Oversee installation, validation, and ramp-up

• Plant Layout & Industrial Design
• - Design optimized plant layouts
• - Improve material flow and space utilization
• - Support facility planning initiatives

• Data Analysis & Performance Management
• - Analyze production data and identify bottlenecks
• - Develop KPIs and dashboards
• - Conduct cost-benefit analysis

• Cross-Functio nal Collaboration
• - Partner with operations, supply chain, finance, and EHS

Required Qualifications

• - Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• - 5 + years of manufacturing experience
• - Experience with high impact line moves or facility transformations
• - Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma
• - CAD proficiency
• - Strong project management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• - Six Sigma certification
• - Automotive or heavy manufacturing experience
• - ERP/ MES system experience
• - Plant startup or expansion experience
