Sr Data Science Analyst

The Sr Data Scientist Analyst will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision making across the organization. This role partners closely with Sales, Supply, and Category teams to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business performance. The role will be critical in enabling key demand processes (S&OP, IBP, Customer Meetings, Forecasting) with simple and clean reporting to drive quick insight and decision making.

Responsibilities

• •Generate insights to support strategic decision-making across omni-channel sales, supply planning, and category management
• •Build and maintain reporting and dashboards in Power BI leveraging Scintilla, Nielsen, and internal supply chain data
• •Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that impact revenue, distribution, and execution
• •Translate complex analyses into clear, compelling narratives for business stakeholders
• •Improve and automate data processes and workflows, including data collection, validation, and integration across multiple sources
• •Support ad hoc analysis and deep dives to inform key business initiatives and leadership decisions

Qualifications

• •Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• •2–4 years of experience in a data, analytics, or technical role (CPG or retail experience a plus)

• •Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (modeling, data manipulation, scenario analysis)
• •Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.)
• •Working knowledge of a programming language such as Python or SQL
• •Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and data integrity
• •Ability to simplify complex analyses into clear, business-relevant insights
• •Self-starter comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• •Experience working with SAP

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range listed is applicable to IL:USD 74,511.00 - USD 102,453.00
