Micron Idaho Semiconductor Manufacturing (Triton) LLC

Responsible for Wet Process Equipment sustainment, including system upgrades, tool installs and de-installs. Drive and manage vendor execution to meet goals. Provide hardware technical support to the Wet Process area. Complete project milestones - close hardware gaps before transferring to manufacturing. Partner with process engineering to define hardware roadmaps. This includes wafer processing hardware, diagnostics, data collection requirements, and hardware quality control/variation reduction. Establish productive Vendor relations to maintain Supplier engagement to achieve Best in Class Equipment Metrics.

Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Position requires:

1. Safety & Compliance in a Cleanroom Environment

2. Troubleshooting and minimizing excursions using FDC (Fault Detection Control) or similar strategies including model-based problem solving including G8D methodology

3. Analyze equipment performance data, identify embedded correlations, and apply root cause analysis to resolve recurring issues and improve uptime

4. Model-based problem solving including G8D methodology and SMART concept

5. Plan tool install and de-install requirements in collaboration with other stakeholders

6. Lead, execute, and deliver the qualification of First-of-a-Kind tools and ensure transition into high-volume manufacturing (HVM) tools.
