Position : Sr.Executive/Team Lead – Accounts & Finance

Exp : 5–8 years in core accounts, audit, taxation and finance operations, preferably in a manufacturing / corporate set-up

Job Summary

Sr.Executive/ TL– Accounts & Finance will be responsible for end-to-end statutory and tax compliance, audit facilitation, banking and treasury operations, MIS reporting, and regulatory filings for the organisation. The role requires strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, direct and indirect taxation, banking/NBFC financing arrangements, and financial reporting, along with the ability to coordinate with auditors, bankers, regulators, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Statutory, Tax & Stock Audit

Prepare Standalone and Consolidated Financial Statements, including financials of overseas/group entities.

Prepare Tax Audit annexures and manage the Tax Audit utility/filing.

Coordinate and prepare data for Stock Audit and GST Audit as required by auditors/banks.

2. Direct & Indirect Tax Compliance

Prepare and file Income Tax Returns and respond to Income Tax notices, assessments and scrutiny proceedings.

File Form 3CEAA (Country-by-Country Reporting/CBCR) and other transfer pricing related filings.

Ensure timely compliance with GST and other applicable indirect tax requirements.

3. Export & Foreign Exchange Compliance

Manage realisation of Foreign Inward Remittances for goods and services.

File GR waivers/releases with bankers against shipping bills and inward remittances.

Handle Shipping Bill Waiver transactions and related export compliance.

Prepare Form 15CA/15CB (Form A1/A2) documentation for Foreign Outward Remittances for services and coordinate with the Chartered Accountant for certification where TDS applies.

Process foreign payments through banking/forex portals.

4. Banking, NBFC & Credit Rating

Manage renewal of working capital limits with banks and prepare data as per sanction terms.

Conduct periodic KYC of bank accounts and credit cards.

Update charge registration on MCA as per sanction letters.

Structure financing arrangements with NBFCs (equipment finance, sale-and-leaseback, employee car lease programs) to identify the most cost-effective options.

Prepare data for Credit Rating renewals; manage Letter of Credit lodgement and discounting.

Prepare Board Resolutions for banking and other corporate requirements.

Prepare and file Quarterly UFCE (Unhedged Foreign Currency Exposure) Declarations.

5. MIS & Financial Reporting

Prepare MIS workings for overheads, sales promotion cost, depreciation, freight outward, net trade cycle and lease interest.

Consolidate business-unit (BU) wise MIS inputs such as finance cost and travel cost.

Account for sale-and-leaseback transactions on a monthly basis.

Conduct inventory analysis and monthly provisioning of expenses.

Prepare monthly BU-wise financial statements and reconcile with MIS; support preparation of Management Review (MR) presentations and the AM Revenue Tracker.

6. Certifications & Regulatory Filings

Coordinate preparation of Turnover, MSME, Solvency, End-Use and Annual UFCE certificates with the Statutory Auditor.

File statutory surveys/forms including the Annual Survey of Industries, DST Survey, Overseas Direct Investment (APR) with RBI, RBI Foreign Liability & Assets Return, DPT-3, ITC-04, DSIR renewal and ITES Survey.

Manage One Time Settlement filings with government authorities for legacy dues (VAT, CST, Excise).

7. Other Responsibilities

Coordinate with Company Secretary for Due Diligence Reports required by bankers.

Provide financial data/inputs for tender submissions and review customer/vendor contracts for finance-related clauses.

Prepare the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for Finance Cost, Overheads and Depreciation.

Manage renewal of insurance policies (Fire & Burglary, Equipment/Lease Assets, CGL and Professional Indemnity) and coordinate claims with insurers.

Coordinate with property valuers for asset valuation and oversee asset capitalisation.

Verify vendor invoices/payments (e.g., IPR-related) prior to PO and invoice generation.

Provide overall support to the finance team on accounting, banking and compliance matters.

Skills & Competencies Required

Sound knowledge of Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Direct & Indirect Taxation, Companies Act and FEMA/RBI regulations.

Hands-on experience with statutory, tax and stock audits, and coordination with Big-4/other audit firms.

Strong understanding of banking, trade finance, NBFC financing structures and export-import compliance.

Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting/MIS tools; ERP exposure (SAP/Oracle or similar) preferred.

Strong analytical, coordination and communication skills to liaise with auditors, bankers, regulators and internal stakeholders.

High attention to detail, ownership and ability to manage multiple statutory timelines simultaneously.

Key Interfaces

Internal: Finance & Accounts team, Business Units, Company Secretary, Procurement/Tender teams.

External: Statutory & Tax Auditors, Bankers, NBFCs, Credit Rating Agencies, Insurance Companies, Government/Regulatory Authorities (RBI, MCA, Income Tax, GST, DSIR).
