Join our dynamic Financial Planning & Analysis team and transform the financial analysis and forecasting process of theatrical films. You'll be the financial storyteller behind blockbuster movies, translating complex data into narratives that drive Amazon MGM Studios' success.

Key job responsibilities

• - Develop sophisticated financial models that forecast theatrical film performance, tracking revenue streams and cost dynamics
• - Maintain comprehensive domestic and international theatrical revenue and marketing forecast models
• - Contribute to critical financial reporting processes, ensuring precision in monthly, quarterly, and annual planning
• - Partner cross-functionally with Strategy, Distribution, and theatrical finance teams to generate actionable financial insights

• Your day will be a blend of creative financial analysis and collaborative problem-solving. You'll dive deep into film financial models, uncovering insights that shape strategic decisions across production, distribution, and strategy teams. No two days will look the same as you navigate the evolving film financial landscape.

Basic qualifications

• - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
• - 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
• - 3+ years of experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis

Preferred qualifications

• - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
• - MBA, or CPA
• - Experience in the entertainment industry
• - Public accounting experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
