Sr. Inspectors

STV is seeking Senior Field Inspectors to join the firm based in our New York City, NY offices.

These positions will report to Field offices

*****This position must have the flexibility to work shifts as needed including swing, night, or weekends*****

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

• •Perform inspections on existing conditions, work being performed, and completed work for quality, completeness, and accuracy.
• •Prepare written documentation, including daily work reports, controlled inspection reports, daily time and material records, and document unit price work.
• •Review and mark plans and specifications as needed to ensure and track compliance with the work performed.
• •Observe work conditions for compliance to applicable safety regulations.
• •Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously; and follow through on projects to successful completion.
• •Communicate with various parties on the progress of the work in a timely manner.
• •Other related duties and tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS include, but are not limited to, the following:

• •Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• •5 or more years of experience in construction supervision/inspection
• •Prior experience with rail, tunnel, structural, station preferred
• •Prior experience with substations preferred
• •Advanced certifications preferred (NICET, ACI, etc.)
• •Ability to pass a TWIC and/or SWAC Background Check at High Level
• •Strong written and verbal communication skills
• •Must be able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time
• •Must be authorized to work in the United States
• •Must be fluent in English (both written and spoken)

Compensation Range:

$74,278.00 - $84,407.00
