In this role, you will serve as the single-threaded owner of marketing execution for one or more payment products within the Amazon Mexico ecosystem. You will be responsible for converting marketing strategy into customer-facing outcomes through hands-on, week-by-week execution across onsite merchandising, promotions, performance reporting, and competitive intelligence.

This is a high-ownership, high-velocity role where you will manage the full execution lifecycle — from campaign creation and promotional configuration to post-campaign analysis — operating within Amazon's rigorous weekly business review cadence.

  • Key job responsibilities
  • Onsite Merchandising
  • Own all customer-facing placements on Amazon.com.mx including Maple campaigns (High Upsell Cards, Mobile View Cards, Priceblock banners, Wallet placements), DPIC content, Sparkle keyword campaigns, homepage hero banners, and landing pages
  • Manage creative briefing, review, scheduling coordination, and multi-channel QA across mobile, app, and desktop
  • Execute large-scale campaign rotations during High-Velocity Events (40+ onsite campaigns and 5–8 landing pages per event)
  • Configure targeting by card issuer and customer segment
  • Promotions & Discounts
  • Design promotional strategies for assigned payment products and navigate approval workflows with Finance and Legal
  • Configure promotions in relevant systems (PAWS, IBD coupon architecture, cashback configurations)
  • Coordinate with up to 14 issuing bank partners on offer structures, communication timing, and shared funding
  • Maintain a rolling pipeline of promotions planned quarters ahead and deliver post-promotion ROI reporting
  • Monitoring & Reporting
  • Produce weekly flash reports, WBR/MBR data pulls, and monthly deep-dive analyses
  • Maintain dashboards, detect anomalies, and deliver post-campaign performance reports and QBR inputs
  • Provide the feedback loop that determines campaign effectiveness, segment conversion, and budget efficiency
  • Competitive Intelligence
  • Conduct monthly structured competitive scans covering MercadoLibre, Liverpool, Coppel, major issuing banks, and emerging fintechs
  • Track feature launches, promotional mechanics, pricing changes, onsite merchandising tactics, and media spend shifts
  • Deliver intel summaries to the broader team and product partners
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Documentation
  • Write campaign briefs, BRDs, 1-pagers, and post-mortem narratives
  • Participate in weekly syncs with product managers, agency partners, legal/compliance reviews, and team ceremonies
  • Operate within Amazon's written communication culture and weekly business review cadence
