About the Role
Happen Bank is looking for a Sr Product Marketing Manager to build and lead product marketing for Happen POS Financing Solutions, helping businesses offer flexible financing to their customers. You'll develop positioning, go-to-market strategies, and integrated campaigns that drive partner acquisition, activation, and ongoing utilization across our core Purchase Finance and Home Improvement verticals, while supporting expansion into new markets.
In this role, you'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, developing creative concepts, messaging, and campaigns from the ground up. You'll partner closely with Sales, Product, and Happen's marketing centers of excellence to strengthen our B2B2C value proposition and deliver measurable growth across partners and the consumers they serve.
What You'll Do
Own the positioning, messaging, and value proposition for Happen POS Financing Solutions across business partners (B2B) and the consumers they serve (B2C), developing differentiated go-to-market strategies for each core vertical based on audience insights and competitive intelligence
Lead go-to-market strategies for new products and features, from market sizing and prioritization through launch and post-launch performance optimization
Build and evolve the B2B2C marketing playbook, developing strategies to acquire and activate partners, increase customer conversion into funded loans, and drive revenue and long-term customer value
Partner with Sales to support high-value enterprise opportunities while developing scalable marketing programs that drive engagement and growth among partners not actively managed by Sales
Develop partner education and enablement programs, including onboarding content, toolkits, case studies, and testimonials that help partners understand when and how to offer Happen POS Financing Solutions to their customers
Define creative direction and develop initial campaign concepts and content, leveraging AI tools where appropriate, and execute integrated campaigns across email, digital, social, trade shows, industry events, and public relations
Partner with and coordinate Happen's marketing centers of excellence, including Creative, Email, Direct Mail, Social, and Lifecycle Marketing, as well as external agencies, to adapt consumer-lending expertise for B2B audiences and deliver campaigns on time and within budget
Analyze campaign and program performance, translating insights into recommendations that improve marketing effectiveness, investment decisions, and team workflows, including opportunities to leverage AI and automation
About You
6+ years of B2B or B2B2C marketing experience, including product or partner marketing, with progressively increasing scope and ownership
Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience marketing to small and mid-sized businesses, such as medical practices or home improvement contractors, through partner, channel, or co-marketing programs
Demonstrated experience building marketing programs from the ground up, with the ability to define strategy and independently develop initial creative briefs, messaging, and campaign content
Proven track record of delivering measurable marketing and business outcomes, including improvements in pipeline, revenue, or customer acquisition costs
Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate performance, identify growth opportunities, and translate insights into actionable recommendations
You thrive in ambiguity, take initiative, and independently drive projects from strategy through launch without requiring extensive resources or direction
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop compelling narratives and influence senior stakeholders
Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence partners across Sales, Product, Operations, Business Analytics, Compliance, and Brand
You have hands-on experience using AI tools to accelerate research, content development, experimentation, and campaign execution, and you're comfortable sharing effective approaches with colleagues. You apply sound judgment around accuracy, brand standards, regulatory compliance, and where human oversight remains essential
