Are you looking to advance your career and flex your leadership and program management skills in a fast-paced and rewarding organization? Join us! As a Sr Program Manager at SNC, you will oversee the integration and management of multiple large-scale projects or one highly complex development, ensuring successful customer relationships, cost control, scheduling, and technical execution. You will lead a portfolio of Program and/or Project Managers, ensuring overall program performance and high visibility deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage total Program Integration for multiple large-scale projects or one highly complex development with high visibility and above-average deliverable requirements.
  • Lead a portfolio of other Program and/or Project Managers, focusing on customer relationships, cost, schedule, and technical planning.
  • Track and report on project status, technical execution, and overall program performance.
  • Supervise program and project staff to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Participate in business resource planning and tracking in coordination with other corporate entities.
  • Formulate and lead a team to fulfill program requirements.
  • Identify, track, and resolve program issues and problems.
  • Manage program risks by identifying, mitigating, tracking, and managing them.
  • Conduct routine meetings and interface on project/program status.
  • Develop proposals, conduct research and fact-finding, coordinate audits, and negotiate with project/program stakeholders to ensure initiatives meet cost, budget, and schedule constraints.
  • Support the Program Director and Business Operations in fulfilling their responsibilities for the Business Area.
  • Master Planning & Architecture
  • Lead the creation, ownership, and continuous refinement of the program’s strategic Master Plan, ensuring it represents a holistic, integrated view of all current contractual commitments, future program options, emerging requirements, and long‑range, proposed execution strategies. This includes building a planning framework that guides technical development, major milestones, resource needs, and cross‑program dependencies. The role must proactively anticipate changes, keep the plan up-to-date, and provide leadership with a reliable roadmap that informs decision‑making across the entire NC3 enterprise.
  • Technical Roadmap & Systems Integration
  • Maintain and integrate all master planning artifacts including the Technical Roadmap, WBS, IMP, and supporting structures and ensure they correctly flow down into actionable execution schedules (IMS). This requires close coordination with engineering, operations, supply chain, and program leadership to validate technical alignment, confirm scope decomposition, and ensure program activities are synchronized across IPTs. Success is defined by establishing traceability from requirements to the plan, eliminating disconnects, and enabling seamless, integrated execution.
  • Scenario Analysis & Trade Studies
  • Perform rapid simulations and “what‑if” analyses to assess impacts from design changes, supply chain disruptions, resource constraints, risk events, and evolving program priorities. These analyses should provide leadership with quantified insights, allowing the program to make informed decisions, adjust execution strategies, and proactively mitigate emerging threats. The role must translate complex technical and operational data into clear, actionable recommendations that influence long‑range planning and near‑term execution.
  • Interface, Deliverable & Handoff Management
  • Define, track, and manage all internal and external givers/receivers to ensure clarity of responsibilities, proper sequencing of work, and on‑time delivery of essential inputs and outputs. This includes mapping and adjudicating critical handoffs across IPTs, suppliers, and customer organizations, particularly where CFE/GFE, contractual deliverables, or integration points carry high risk. The expectation is to enforce disciplined interface controls, prevent downstream disruption, and maintain alignment between planned and actual execution.
  • Proposal & Capture Integration
  • Lead the integration of proposal activities into the strategic Master Plan by decomposing scope, establishing planning baselines, and evaluating impacts on existing program commitments. Serve as the central strategist and integrator for proposal roadmap alignment, IMP/WBS development, and risk/schedule analysis across IPTs and subcontractors. The role is accountable for providing leadership with a clear understanding of how new capture activities influence cost, schedule, risk posture, and long‑term program strategy.

Stakeholder Engagement & Business Strategy Alignment

Interface with executive leadership and external stakeholders to communicate risks and opportunities to multiyear forecasts including milestone deliverables, anticipated award dates, and resource availability limitations for translation into the business plan. Provide forward‑looking insights into award timing, capacity constraints, and resource demands, ensuring accurate translation of program realities into business planning cycles. Support the program by identifying and resolving issues, managing risks, and driving process improvements that enhance execution efficiency. The role is expected to serve as a strategic advisor who aligns program planning outputs with broader enterprise and customer priorities.
