As we continue to scale our global platform, the Senior Quality Engineer will play a critical role in embedding quality across Supply Chain, FinTech/Payments, and ERP platforms throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Quality Engineer to independently own testing activities and strengthen quality across our Supply Chain, FinTech/Payments, and ERP platforms. Working closely with software engineers and product managers, this role identifies risks early, improves testability, and embeds quality into requirements, design, development, and release practices. The Senior Quality Engineer delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.

Team & Leadership Impact (Build Championship Teams)

Partner with development and product teams during refinement and design to challenge ambiguous requirements, define testable acceptance criteria, and identify edge cases and integration risks before implementation begins.

Contribute to shared QE standards, review automation code for test design and maintainability, and mentor teammates on continuous testing, shift-left, and AI-assisted testing practices.

Collaborate with developers on appropriate unit, component, API, and integration coverage to drive shift-left and continuous testing practices across the team.

Fan & Customer Impact (Obsessed with Fans)

Build end-to-end automated tests for critical business journeys including order, fulfillment, payment, and ERP/finance posting flows to protect reliability for end customers.

Perform focused exploratory and manual testing for complex workflows, boundary conditions, and scenarios requiring human judgment to catch issues before they reach production.

Validate data accuracy and consistency across services, databases, and integrated systems — including reconciliation checks — to ensure customers experience accurate, trustworthy transactions.

Define, maintain, and report quality metrics and dashboards covering defect trends, escaped defects, and release readiness to support confident delivery decisions.

Apply LLMs and AI-assisted or agent-based (including MCP-based) workflows to test scenario generation, test data creation, automation implementation, maintenance, and failure triage, reviewing generated tests for correctness and meaningful assertions.

Test AI/LLM-powered features where applicable, validating output quality and behavior with evals and non-deterministic testing approaches, and evaluate AI self-healing and visual testing tools for fit.

Investigate flaky tests, diagnose failures using logs, API responses, and queries, and work with developers on root causes and regression prevention to continuously improve pipeline reliability.

Contribute experience in performance, resilience, and security testing for critical flows, bringing a proactive lens to systemic risk reduction.

Ownership & Execution (Determined & Relentless Mindset)

Independently own test strategy, planning, estimation, test data, execution, defect triage, and quality reporting for the team — identifying dependencies and escalating risks early.

Design, build, and maintain reusable automation frameworks and suites for APIs, web applications, integrations, and data validation, keeping coverage aligned with business risk and system changes.

Integrate automated tests and actionable reporting into CI/CD pipelines, improving execution speed and reliability to maintain dependable regression feedback at every stage of delivery.

Provide regular, evidence-based updates on testing progress, blockers, residual risks, and release readiness to support delivery decisions and continuous improvement.

CAPABILITIES & EXPERIENCE YOU BRING

Required Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in software quality engineering, with demonstrated senior-level technical depth and independent ownership of testing in an Agile engineering team.

Hands-on experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks and reliable test suites, with strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript (Java or Go also valued) and comfort working across languages.

Practical experience using AI in test automation workflows — including LLM-assisted test and test-data generation, agentic/MCP-based automation, testing AI/LLM-powered features, or AI self-healing and visual testing tools — with concrete examples of improved coverage, faster delivery, or reduced maintenance effort and the ability to explain how generated tests were reviewed and validated.

Strong understanding of shift-left testing, continuous testing, risk-based test planning, and the appropriate balance of unit, component, integration, and end-to-end coverage, combined with experience with API automation for REST and/or gRPC services and web automation frameworks such as Playwright (preferred), Selenium, or WebdriverIO.

Proficiency in SQL and relational databases for test data preparation and validation, with the ability to investigate data consistency issues across integrated systems and diagnose failures using logs and API responses.

Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, working with Git-based code review (GitHub/GitLab), and testing in cloud environments such as AWS or GCP, alongside familiarity with test case management and API testing tools such as TestRail and Postman.

Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to collaborate closely with developers and product managers, prioritize independently, and communicate quality risks with supporting evidence; prior experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM) and/or FinTech/Payments domains, or with ERP systems and their integrations, is strongly preferred.

Hybrid: The primary place of performance of this role is the Company's office located Hyderabad, India, subject to the Company's current hybrid work policy. This role currently requires in-office presence Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
