JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position Overview

The SAP Senior Application Analyst will work on business systems design and configuration, as well as upgrades and improvements for assigned technology platforms. As a primary support contact for SAP application end-users, the Senior SAP Application Analyst will work to identify issues that arise in the application a re a as well as issues that impact other application teams, and work to re solve them. The Senior Application Analyst will perform impact analysis of desi re d changes, build and test systems changes, and identify a re as of improvement associated with platform performance and opportunities to enable business processes and re qui re ments. The Senior App lication Analyst will act as a mentor to junior analysts on the team, support questions , and may delegate activities to other analysts

Essential Duties

Include, but a re not limited to, the following:

Re sponsible for business systems design and configuration, and upgrades and improvements for low to medium complexity application s.

Design and implement solutions to a wide range of difficult problems that a re imaginative, thorough, and practical .

Re sponsible for independent development and configuration of an assigned application .

Identif y issues that arise in the application a re a as well as issues that impact other application teams, and work to re solve them.

Develop new processes and procedu re s to meet cur re nt challenges .

C re ate and maintain system documentation.

Lead the estimation of enhancement or support re quests.

Guide workflow design, configu re and test system changes, and analyze technical issues.

Liaise with business systems stakeholders and softwa re vendor’s implementation staff to ensu re alignment of business needs with the delivery of system changes.

Develop an understanding of operational needs to set the di re c tion for the organization's workflows; proactively identify opportunities to improve business workflow with technology improvements.

Participate in develop ing document ation and participate in trainings and work with end users.

Troubleshoot problems and questions , and provide re gular updates on status to key business stakeholders .

Serve as a subject matter expert of assigned applications.

Provide end-user production support for issues ente re d into issue tracking systems.

Re view the status of projects and issues with project leadership.

Assign or delegate configuration or other activities to other team members.

Act as delegate for leadership re garding incident or problem re solution.

Provide mentorship for other peers and take the lead to solve problems, even if outside of normal scope.

Lead internal process design and documentation to drive continuous improvement for the IT department or team.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Deg re e in re lated field as outlined in the essential duties; or High School Diploma or General Education Deg re e (GED) and 4 years of re levant experience as outlined in the essential duties in lieu of Bachelor’s Deg re e .

5+ years of experience developing or configuring technology solutions, either in an application analyst or project delivery role.

Demonstrated ability to understand and apply industry best practices.

Strong computer skills to include internet navigation and email usage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

Demonstrated ability to perform the e ssential d uties of the position with or without accommodation.

Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

P re fer re d Qualifications

E xperience configuring business systems softwa re in a life science, healthca re , or re lated industry.

Ability to architect and provide technical support of SAP systems and re lated environments such as Solution Manager and its functionality, SAP S/4, Transports management, System Copy and re f re sh, Interfaces.

U nderstanding of S AP Security architectu re and implementation methods .

Working experience in S/4 HANA, SAP cloud Solutions, Fiori, and AWS

Experience of working in SoX complaint environment .

F amiliarity with continuous monitoring tools such as Solution Manager’s Configuration Validation & System Re c ommendation or SAP Cloud ALM products. CloudALM is a plus.

2+ Year of IAS/ CIS , Single sign on with SAP and Microsoft Entra and SAP SaaS solutions

Ability to provide technical support to re solve basis and security issues, optimizing services and ensuring availability, performance & application security of critical business systems.

Ability to lead technical project from ideation to completion.

Experience working in Agile wit h understanding of ITIL V3.0 or above.

The base pay for this position is

$78,000.00 – $156,000.00 In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
