Sr. Scientist, Product Development

Job Description:

We're looking for product developer for ice cream, the main responsibilities as below:

1. Ice cream product innovation and development activities, translating market trends, consumer insights, and business opportunities into innovative product concepts and competitive product solutions.

2. As product spoke, in cross-functional teams, driving NPD (New Product Development), VL (Value Leadership), and SS (Supply Security) projects. Establish product formulations, technical specifications, and quality standards while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Mars policies.

3. Develop and implement new ice cream formulations and technology platforms that deliver consumer experiences and support business growth objectives, including sensory, quality, and performance target.

4. Partner closely with Marketing and Sales to support channel innovation, customization product development, and the creation of long-term innovation platform strategies.

5. Lead ingredient and raw material development initiatives, collaborating with technical functions and suppliers to drive end-to-end ingredient development, technical & risk assessments, qualification processes, and troubleshooting activities.

6. Own product stability and shelf-life evaluation programs, designing and executing testing protocols, analyzing results, generating technical reports, and maintaining relevant documentation and records.

7. Manage the Ice Cream Laboratory, including experimental planning, resource coordination, capability development. Support the scale-up process from laboratory development through pilot trials and commercial production to successful market launch.
