Key Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning
- Perform installation, commissioning, and start-up of UV disinfection systems at customer locations.
- Verify equipment installation as per engineering drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
- Configure and test electrical, mechanical, and control system components.
- Conduct performance validation and operational checks during project handover.
- Provide customer training on operation and routine maintenance of UV systems.
Service & Maintenance
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities for UV equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control-related issues.
- Replace and repair faulty components including lamps, ballasts, sensors, actuators, power supplies, motors, pumps, valves, and control panels.
- Perform system inspections and recommend corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
- Maintain service records and submit detailed service reports after each site visit.
Electro-Mechanical Support
- Troubleshoot and maintain:
- UV reactors and chambers
- Electrical control panels
- PLC-based control systems
- Sensors and instrumentation
- Pumps and motors
- Actuated valves
- Power distribution systems
- Wiring and cable connections
- Interpret electrical schematics, GA drawings, wiring diagrams, and P&ID drawings.
- Conduct electrical measurements using testing instruments such as multimeters, insulation testers, and clamp meters.
Customer Support
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
- Respond promptly to service calls and breakdown situations.
- Coordinate with customers regarding service schedules, spare parts requirements, and system upgrades.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely issue resolution.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance reports.
- Maintain service logs, visit reports, and equipment history records.
- Submit travel expenses, service documentation, and customer feedback reports on time.
- Assist in preparing technical service manuals and maintenance procedures.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow company EHS guidelines and customer site safety requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments before carrying out field activities.
Ensure compliance with electrical and mechanical safety standards
