Completes technical-oriented service tasks of various scopes and supports in planning and managing these tasks. Key Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):

• •Physical installation of Dell Racks, Dell Servers, Robotic autoloaders/tape libraries, Tape Backup Drives, Printers, Dell workstations, etc..
• •Creating a LAN, Rack cabling, Assigning IP Addresses, etc
• •Installation of Active Directory, DNS, IIS, MSSQL, and Databases at Varian’s customer sites
• •Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Citrix XenApp
• •Installation & upgrades of Varian software onsite or remotely from the office using tools developed by Varian.
• •Installation and configuration of Backup software, Juniper firewalls, etc
• •This is a customer-facing role, which expects customer handling skills, performing acceptance procedures with customers, and getting documents signed by customers.

Note: The right candidate would be the one who has the above technical skills and is ready to travel 30-40 %. Ready to work in challenging conditions at Varian’s customer sites in India and neighboring countries. This profile is for the strong, tactful, quick learner, flexible candidates who can work under time pressure, and during odd working hours to deliver projects on time. Candidates should be ok for the weekend work in different time zones as being a Global team, we work on projects from entire world.

Skills Must have:

Strong technical knowledge of Installation, Configuration, and Troubleshooting of:

• •Windows Servers & client Operating Systems,
• •Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WINS, IIS, File & Print Servers,
• •Dell Servers, Autoloaders, Tape Drives, Backups, HP Printers, Juniper firewalls,
• •RAID, WSUS, Cybersecurity
• •MSSQL Server, RDBMS databases
• •Virtualization technologies like VMWare, vCloud, Citrix XenApp etc.
• •Skills related to customer-facing role
• •Fluent English communication skills
• •Quick learner, flexible to work during odd working hours, multitasking skills, and excellent team player.
• •Windows System Administration
• •IP Addressing

Skills Good to have:

• •Healthcare IT domain knowledge
• •DICOM/HL7 knowledge
• •Microsoft certifications
• •Network Administration skills

Qualifications:

Bachelor or Master's degree in a technical discipline (B.E./B.Tech/ B.Sc (Comp)/MCA/M.Sc. (Comp)

Experience:

Candidate should have 3 – 5 years of experience.
