Lead design reviews with contractors, construction, and operations, and drive resolution of review comments, clashes, and constructability issues.

Review contractor deliverables, including grading, drainage, stormwater, roadway, and utility drawings, calculations, and quantity take-offs, for quality and compliance with project specifications and local codes.

Respond to contractor technical queries, and evaluate and approve design changes.

Manage geotechnical, survey, and environmental consultants, and make sure their findings are carried into the design.

Coordinate civil interfaces across process, mechanical, structural, electrical, and geotechnical engineering, and across contractor scope boundaries.

Support procurement by writing scopes of work, evaluating contractor proposals, and reviewing bids and submittals.

Once licensed, seve as engineer of record for civil packages designed in-house, including grading, drainage, stormwater, roadway, and utility design.
