Job Overview

The Talent Partner, India serves as the dedicated regional recruiting and People Operations partner for BusPatrol’s growing India organization. Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition, this role leads full-cycle recruiting while serving as the primary on-the-ground People partner in India. Key responsibilities include establishing scalable recruiting operations, supporting onboarding + office expansion, coordinating compliance, managing regional People policies and processes, and providing localized operational support.

This position plays a critical role in enabling BusPatrol’s strategic India expansion and offshore productivity initiatives by improving hiring speed and candidate quality, strengthening onboarding readiness, supporting office establishment and oversight, and managing vendors and recruiting agencies. Working closely with Product & Technology, Finance, Operations, Legal, IT, and the broader People team, the Talent Partner will help build the talent infrastructure needed to support continued regional growth.

This role is ideal for someone with 8–10 years of combined recruiting and People Operations experience who enjoys building recruiting programs and employee experiences from the ground up while partnering closely with business leaders in a fast-growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Talent Acquisition

Lead full-cycle recruiting for India-based positions primarily across Product, Engineering, Data, IT, Operations, and other corporate functions

Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, job descriptions, interview maps, workforce plans, and hiring timelines, holding teams accountable to our internal SLAs and speed to hire + quality of hire standards

Build diverse candidate pipelines through direct sourcing, referrals, agencies, and local market networking

Deliver exceptional candidate experiences while improving hiring quality, speed, and accountability

Manage interview coordination, offer development, negotiations, and hiring execution

India Recruiting Operations

Coordinate recruiting activities with U.S.-based Talent Acquisition and People Operations teams

Partner with Product & Technology and Operations leadership to forecast hiring needs and prioritize recruiting efforts

Establish scalable recruiting processes, documentation, and regional standard work

Recruiting Analytics & Hiring Process Improvement

Monitor recruiting performance metrics including: time-to-fill, pipeline health, quality of hire, offer acceptance, hiring manager satisfaction, candidate experience satisfaction

Identify recruiting bottlenecks and recommend process improvements

Develop reporting and dashboards supporting recruiting capacity planning

Continuously improve candidate experience and recruiting operations

Regional People Operations

Serve as a primary recruiting and People Team point of contact supporting our India team, office, vendors, and contractors

Source and manage recruiting agencies and People vendors in India to meet hiring and operational needs

Establish and manage our new physical office, supporting the oversight of day-to-day office management and operations

Support localized onboarding, compliance activities, documentation, and hiring administration

Establish scalable people operations processes, documentation, and regional standard work

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner closely with People, Product & Technology Leadership, IT, Finance, Legal, Operations teams

Support India office expansion activities and workforce growth initiatives

Contribute to broader Talent Acquisition and People Team projects that improve recruiting effectiveness and organizational scale

Qualifications

8-10 years of progressive Talent Acquisition & People Operations experience, primarily recruiting for Product, Engineering, Technology, Operations, and/or other technical functions

Experience supporting high-growth organizations + multiple concurrent priorities

Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and business leaders throughout the recruiting lifecycle

Familiarity with India recruiting practices, local employment regulations, and regional labor market trends

Experience establishing and managing a new physical office, including overseeing day-to-day office operations

Experience working with ATS platforms, recruiting analytics, and sourcing tools

Strong project management, organization, and prioritization skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Comfortable operating independently while collaborating across global teams

Location: Hyderabad, TG, India (Hybrid, In-Person Role)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours with flexibility to support critical US time zone alignment calls with key stakeholders for strategic priority initiatives

Reports To: Director, Talent Acquisition

Travel: None expected

Experience: 8-10 years of Talent Acquisition & People Operations experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred
